updated tag program. |
 |

Inside and Outside Play equipment; Furniture, Baby equipment
(strollers, highchairs etc.); or anything else to do with kids!
We apologize for the inconvenience, however, we will no longer be
selling used car-seats as it is becoming illegal (for safety reasons) to
re-sell them in many states.
All merchandise will be checked at
your drop-off appointment. |
 |
Please thoroughly check all toys, equipment and electronics
before bringing them into the sale and test that they are working properly
with all pieces attached. It is equally important that all
items are unstained with no "hidden" defects. All electronic or
battery toys or cars must have functioning batteries and charger.

There is no limit on
all other children's sizes or items. Sellers may sell up to 375 of their
own items. |
 |
All sellers are required to fully assemble all cribs and
large play equipment at drop off. In our experience these
items sell quickly if fully assembled. |
 |
Please bring an extra, completely filled out tag for all
large items (baby equipment, furniture, riding toys, etc.) and give to
volunteer checking in your large items. |
 |
While not a new requirement, we want to remind sellers
that we will not accept merchandise without a full description and size
(if applicable), handwritten or typed on the tags. |
 |
For non clothing tags that can not be safety pinned,
please secure using clear packing tape over the complete tag. |
 |
Please do not mark through any items on the tags.
Your seller ID#, item #, price and half off instructions are all
bar-coded on your tags. You can not, therefore, cross through any
printed information on your tags and handwrite different
information. If you need to change any part of your tag, you must
print out a new tag. Also, please do not place two tags
on any item. |
 |
If you cancel your seller appointment within 14 days of
your scheduled drop off (outside of family emergencies), you will be
unable to sell with us for two subsequent seasons. Please understand
that we typically have an extensive waiting list and you are taking a
seller spot that could have been filled by someone else. |
 |
While we do have numerous security
measures to protect your items for sale, we are not responsible for lost,
damaged or stolen items. |
TAGGING INSTRUCTIONS
 |
If you have problems loading the
programs, please uninstall our old program through the Control Panel,
reboot the computer and try again. Option #1 -
If you do not want to inventory your items, you will download
our
Non-Inventory tag program from the Seller Menu. Using this
program you will handwrite the size and description on each tag.. To conserve time
and ink, we suggest printing one complete set (18 pages) and keeping these
originals for your use from sale to sale. You can then make copies
of the desired quantity each season from the originals.
Option #3 - If you would like an inventory of your items (optional), or you prefer to type your
tags (instead of handwriting the size and description), you must download
our Inventory tag program from the Seller Menu. (Option
#2 is for use with public computers only). |
 |
After
printing tags, every seller must copy their tags
onto cardstock paper making
the quantity desired for each price. ....or you may print out your tags
directly onto cardstock on your own printer.
You may choose any white, light or
pastel colored cardstock for your tags. The darker or multi colored
will not scan! ( If you have 100 items to sell, this will cost
approximately $2.00 for 13 sheets at Office Max, Office Depot etc.)
|
 |
During the printing of your tags,
you must select the "Landscape Option" from the Preferences or
Property button on the printer pop up screen. This will create your
tags to be 3" x 2 1/4" in size. If your tags are not these exact
dimensions, please click on the ?Help? troubleshooting tab for
instructions.
|
 |
If you experience problems printing
your tags, please temporarily disable your virus protection program as it
may interfere with our program. |
 |
All clothes must be on hangers facing
left with pants, shorts and skirts safety pinned to the top of the hanger
for easy viewing (see diagram below). |
 |
Safety Pin
(No straight pins or staples) the tags to the garments upper right side
and to the tag's upper right corner. See the attached tag and
diagram below. Obtain safety pins and hangers at your local dry
cleaners. Ask to buy some, most will give them away.
|
 |
No mark-overs! - If you change
anything on your tag, please complete a new tag. Also, do not write
on the back of a used card. We will not sell an item if there have
been changes made to a tag. |
 |
Items other than clothing -
Large Ziploc bags with tags attached to the outside work well for small
toys, bibs, socks, baby t-shirts and onesies etc.
Secure tags to toys and equipment using clear packing tape over the
complete tag. Shoes can be
secured together using shoelaces. Safety pin the tag through the
laces. If there are no laces, then intertwine the straps to hold the
shoes together and place the safety pin around the strap. Please DO NOT
put shoes into bags. |
 |
We support Metro Ministries
(an inner city children's church) with your donations.
Please prayerfully consider donating your unsold merchandise. All
donations go to the extremely needy and we are able to bless those less
fortunate with your help. We pledge that we do not keep or re-sell
any merchandise that is not picked up.
If you would like to donate any or
all of your unsold items to these ministries, please clip off the
lower left hand corner of the tag. Sellers who donate all
of their unsold merchandise will receive a tax deduction letter with their
check. If a seller inventories their items, they should be
able to use
their inventory list, less the sold list, to record the exact
donation amount for tax purposes. See your local tax accountant to
confirm. |

|
Price |
This will be automatically printed
in the center of card in 1.00 increments. Group small items in baggies.
As a general rule, items should be priced at 1/4 or less of original
retail. New items or items in "like new" condition should be
priced no higher than 1/3. |
|
Size |
Handwrite in the size of your
clothing if you are not using the inventory program. Do not use S,
M or L sizes. If a range is given for infant clothing use the
lower size. i.e. for 12-18 months write 12 months. Also, be sure
to separate 4 from 4T and 6 from 6X. |
|
Seller ID# |
This number will automatically be
printed on your tags in the top left hand corner. |
|
Desc. |
If you are not using the inventory
program, please handwrite in a brief description of each item. -example
Girl's Oshkosh pink shirt |
|
1/2 |
This will be automatically printed
in the center of the card with "Yes" or "No". We highly suggest
that everyone reduce most or all of their items to half price on
Saturday. If an item did not sell on Thursday or Friday for full
price it most likely will not sell on Saturday for full price. |
|
Donate |
Cut off the lower left hand corner
where marked if you would like to donate an unsold item to the needy. |
|
Item # |
(Optional) This number will be
automatically printed below your seller ID# if you are using our
inventory program. It will not be used otherwise. If you
want to receive a list of what item numbers have sold, you must
use our inventory program. |

PICK UP/CHECK INFORMATION
 |
Seller
pick up date and time for all unsold items will be as follows: Cobb
County Fairgrounds Sale: Saturday, Feb. 23rd from 7:00-8:00pm.
Mount Paran North Sale: Sat., March 15th from 7:00pm-8:00pm.
All items not picked up at this time will automatically be donated and
your check and report will be mailed within 48 hours. No exceptions
can be made.
While we try to have checks and reports ready at
pickup Sat. night, this is not guaranteed. If they are not ready,
they will be mailed within 48 hours. |
 |
Upon
arrival, first pick up your check. There
will be three or four lines according to the letter of your last name. If
someone is picking up for you, they must know your seller number and name
to match. If someone is picking up for you, they most likely
will not be able identify any of your items in the Lost Tag Area.
For this reason it may be better for you to pick up your own items.
|
 |
Then proceed
to the Lost Tag Area and check if any item belongs to you.
|
 |
Then
pick up your non clothing items in the grocery bags. The seller numbers will be arranged by letter first and then by
number. You may have more than one bag. Please see the front of
your bag indicating how many bags you have for pickup.
|
 |
Finally, pick up your hanging
clothing.
We ask that you stop and take time to go through all
of your items to make sure we did not miss-sort an item. If you find
an item that does not belong to you, please bring it to a volunteer. |
 |
Report - Everyone will receive a report that details your sales by your
seller ID#. |
 |
If
after receiving your check and report you have any questions about an
item, please send us an email. If you are missing an item, please
email us and let us know. We do want to hear from you...but not that
night. :) (We only have a limited amount of time to leave the
building) |
PREVIEW SALE INFORMATION
 |
If
you have more than 30 items that were accepted for sale, you will be given
one admittance ticket for one person to enter the seller preview sale on
Wed., Feb. 20th from 6:00pm-8:00pm if you are selling at the Cobb County
Fairgrounds sale or Thursday, March 13th from 7:00pm-9:00pm if you are
selling at the Mt Paran Sale.
All Volunteers will shop prior to the seller preview
sale. |
 |
Only
children 10 years and older will be allowed at the preview, and they must
stay with their parents at all times.
(No children under 10....This includes No Infants
in front/back carriers) We apologize, however there are no
exceptions! While we know this is a major inconvenience to those
with young children and/or nursing mothers, please understand that it only
takes one crying baby or toddler to change the lively atmosphere into
great tension. |
 |
We
ask that no one line up their baskets and then leave the waiting area.
In fairness to everyone we ask that no baskets be left to hold your space
(other than quick "bathroom breaks"), and that you do not hold a place for
a friend or relative in line. |
 |
Most shoppers bring a laundry basket
or box with a rope attached to "drag" their bargains behind them.
No wagons, strollers, etc. will be allowed due to lack of space. |
 |
Our sale has always been known for
it's polite shoppers. To continue this tradition we ask that you go
through each clothing item one at a time on the rack. Please do not
take an item off the rack unless you intend to purchase it. If you
have selected items that you no longer want to purchase, we ask (beg
and plead) that you please re-rack your clothes into the proper size and
gender. Please do not leave the unwanted clothing in a stack
somewhere, or worse yet, put them on the racks in the wrong sizes.
We can understand not wanting an item due to stains, tears, defects etc.,
but your "reject" stack should be very small compared to your "keep"
stack. If you do find an item with a stain or tear, please
give it to a volunteer. |
 |
If you want to purchase a large item
that can not be moved, please write your first and last name, and "Sold"
over the tag. Then obtain a ticket from one of our workers
to give to the cashier. PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE TAG.
All other large items should be taken to the "Hold Area" while you
finish shopping. All items must be purchased by the seller when
placed on Hold. See volunteer for "Hold" ticket.
Anyone who attempts to scratch out his or her name (or another person's
name) may be asked to leave. :( |
 |
If anyone sees someone not following
our simple shopping guidelines, please notify a volunteer so we can
discuss the problem with them. We really want this to be a fun,
bargain collecting, shopping experience for everyone!! |
